SOCIAL EVENTS
In order to attend the Monday and/or Friday side meeting(s), it is mandatory to purchase a ‘Side Meeting Pass’. At the moment, this pass can be obtained while purchasing a full conference pass for the TNC conference. A separate pass for these Side Meeting will be made available later in the year.

This event is the perfect opportunity for speakers and session chairs to meet, discuss presentations, catch up with community members and make new connections. Situated in the elegant Place de la Mairie, the City Hall was constructed in the most elegant style, that of Louis XV. Inside lies an impressive staircase, waterfall, tapestries, chandeliers and paintings.
Light snacks and drinks will be served.

A gentle 5km run will take place around the streets and squares of Rennes and follow the river Vilaine which flows right through the historic city centre.

The Opening Reception will take place at the Couvent des Jacobins, TNC24’s main venue, on Tuesday 11 June, right after the last parallel session of the day. This is your first chance to socialise with other delegates, meet the speakers and engage with our exhibitors.
The TNC24 Kick Off party will take place at the Delirium Café, Rennes, Join us, mingle with old friends and colleagues and create new connections. Enjoy an extensive range of draft beers from around the world, as well as wine and soft drinks. The Delirium Café has space to relax inside and out and with a DJ providing the music it promises to be a night to remember.

Delirium Café is located at Place des Lices in the heart of the city centre. The location is at walking distance from TNC24 conference venue and just a few minutes’ walk from the metro stops of Sainte-Anne and Republique.

Located right in front of charming timber-framed and stone mansions, La Halle Martenot is home to one of the most beautiful Saturday markets in France. The building’s architecture was inspired by the central halls of Paris. Hosted by RENATER, the dinner will recreate the authentic and vibrant atmosphere of a local market. A glittering collection of Gault Millau and Michelin star rated Chefs will prepare local delicacies before your very eyes. See these outstanding chefs at work in a specially created open kitchen and savour the results during this unique gourmet event. Participating chefs include Julien Lemarié, Sylvain Guillemot, Jean Marie Baudic, Eric Toutain and Pascal Jain.
